1. Heritage & Legacy (Established 1976)

Founded on July 1, 1976, by Dr. Wu Siu Hok along with co-founders Raymond To and Wu Hung Hok, Astard Design began as a grassroots startup with a vision for excellence in graphic and interior design.

By the late 1970s and early 1980s, the company entered its "Golden Era," securing exclusive advertising rights for major cinema screens. The business expanded into a full-service agency covering TV, print, radio, outdoor, and MTR advertising, supported by an in-house recording studio and a dedicated creative team.

2. Technological Innovation & Mission Work

During a period focused on humanitarian and mission work through the Association of Chinese Evangelical Ministry , the team pioneered early cloud computing applications, such as the OpenWebMail based Web-disk system, to facilitate file exchanges for disaster relief. This era solidified the company’s expertise in server management, remote control systems, and CNC computer-cut signage, integrating technology into spiritual and social service.

3. The New Era: Smart Manufacturing & AI

Today, Asther Design is revitalizing its legacy by merging decades of design experience with cutting-edge technology:

• Precision Engineering: Utilizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and 3D Printing for automated carving and finishing, with a focus on high-tech products like drones and ultra-miniature computers.

• Aesthetic Resin Craftsmanship: Innovating in the field of Resin Crystal furniture, decorative gifts, and interior flooring. By combining traditional carving with modern LED applications, we aim to redefine home décor for the modern age.

• AI-Driven Development: Integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence systems for market research, creative design, and project optimization.
